Many of you may be following the situation involving Notre Dame and President Obama. As May 17th approaches it is almost certain that Notre Dame (a catholic college) will present President Obama (firmly pro choice/pro abortion) with an honorary degree.
Many are outraged about this but are now being called upon to pray rather than protest. Patrick J. Reilly, President of The Cardinal Newman Society, has suggested that we pray for the graduating seniors, Notre Dame and the renewal of faithful Catholic higher education in our country.

I was really proud of how our president handled the controversy. The speech was amazing. Typical Obama.....found a way to make us think outside the box and try to bring us all together.... He made me proud to be a catholic, and taught us how not to be hypocrites.... Amazing!
